Patent Landscape Techniques (GIIP Banagalore)

27th July to 02nd August 2011 (Monday to Friday; 10.00 AM to 3.30 PM)

Patent Landscape Techniques; a 5 days (full time) course will enables management, scientists, attorneys to take key decisions in strategic development, new product development and R&D planning. This course covers patent landscapes using different statistical tools, data mining and data visualization techniques; used for patent landscaping that helps in identifying competitive and technology trends. The Training also focuses on the significance and use of Patent Landscapes, for identifying ‘white spaces’ in the related technology.

- Generation of Patent Maps to visualize different windows of competitor activity, to be included in the Search & Analysis Report.

Graduates, Post Graduates with Science, Engineering background are eligible for the program. Participants should possess good communication and writing skills, should have good analytical capability and be capable of understanding the technical concepts and processes. At the same time, they should possess basic understanding of the Patent laws and procedures.
