Short Term Course for Indian Patent Agent Exam 2011

GIIP announces short term course to prepare for the “Indian Patent Agent Exam 2011” conducted by Indian Patent Office. The course will be conducted in class room from 15th November to 20th November 2010(Monday to Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM) at GIIP’s Delhi and Bangalore centers.
The curriculum for the course has been designed and will be delivered by outstanding professionals, patent agents and attorneys, PTO officials with rich teaching, research, industry and consulting experience. The training will comprise of interactive sessions with trainers including group discussions, self learning exercises, simulations, case studies, scenario exercises, solving previous year papers, etc. The focus will be to deliver content that will certainly help the participant to pass the Patent Agent Exam 2011.
ELIGIBILITY
Graduates, Post Graduates with Science, Engineering or technology degrees
Participants should possess good communication and writing skills, should be capable of understanding the technical concepts and processes. At the same time, should have basic understanding of the patent laws and procedures.

GIIP announces admissions open for PG Courses in Intellectual Property Rights and Patent Management

The 9-month Full Time PG Diploma Course, which is offered in collaboration with Center for Advanced Studies and Research on Intellectual Property (CASRIP), University of Washington (USA), is meant for technical professionals aspiring for a lucrative career in Patent and IP Related services. On the other hand, the 3-month Full Time PG Certification Course caters primarily to legal and management professionals and offers up-to-date education in Indian, European and US IP laws. The total number of seats available in each course is 60 and admissions close on April 30, 2010.
